  Only giving it two stars because if someone really cared about this place, it could be great. Made our camp site reservation a week and a half before arriving from Texas. Drove for two days and arrived around 4pm. First of all, it was cheaper to pay for one whole month than 2 weeks. The site they gave us was SO tiny for our 37ft camper. We hooked up and realized we were unlevel, put everything away and leveled better. Got everything set up again, and only half of our campers electricity didn't work. Which tells us they only had 30amp service for this site. It's around 9pm when we decide to move to another site. There is NO ONE on call once the office closes. Got set up and the new spot's power pole actually works. The next day I went into the office and told the lady up front what had happened. Her words exactly "we have people in and out every day. Usually people tell us if something is wrong. Also, you can't stay at that site, I have someone else reserved for it." So, they would rather a CUSTOMER bring things to their attention, than check their sites before and after people arrive and leave. Also, the sewage pipe was broken! Not even one apology from the staff, and to say that we were going to have to move.......no. Once we use our credit here, we WILL NOT be returning!!!!!!!!!

  We spent 3 nights here and had a great time. We kayaked several days and the put-ins were close and convenient to the campground. We ate at the restaurant for lunch and dinner and the food was good and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. Best of all the campground is right on the Sante Fe River and the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. I'd recommend this to anyone.
